Lucy Montgomery

Lucy is our latest addition to the MasterJack team, bringing her positive energy and creativity to the roles of Content Publisher and Marketing Assistant at Gilligan Sheppard.

After graduating from Glasgow University with a degree in English Literature, Lucy worked in Glasgow and London, then adventured around Australia for six months before landing in New Zealand.

Like many students, Lucy spent time providing excellent customer experiences through hospitality before moving on to her passion—writing. London provided an opportunity to showcase her communication skills at a social enterprise tea company. As a Marketing and Operations Assistant, Lucy sharpened her writing to engage with a wide range of audiences.

Now, she edits, proofs, writes and publishes compelling content across multiple platforms for our clients.

Lucy loves telling stories through her writing and, most of all, is interested in people and their lives and emotions.

Lucy Montgomery

“I am not afraid of storms,
for I am learning how to sail my ship”

– Louisa May Alcott

Born and raised in the seaside town of St Andrews on Scotland’s east coast, Lucy has embarked on many travel adventures. During her working holiday in Australia, specific highlights included sailing through the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands and catching some seriously gnarly waves in Byron Bay.

Lucy is as comfortable on the ski slopes as she is reading a great book or watching a thrilling crime drama on TV. With a professional musician for a dad, it’s no surprise that she has a natural talent for singing and loves to attend gigs, festivals, and theatre.

When she’s not exploring the great outdoors or nurturing her creative side, Lucy keeps busy with active pursuits like swimming and has recently started playing netball. And of course, she loves to flex her culinary skills, cooking and baking up a storm.
